I’m having a little trouble,

I got the plugin to work but there aren’t any transition effects for me (just a hide/show transition between slides).

Stephen on May 16, 2010 at 9:21 pm

i mean header*

Hello! nice plugin 🙂 i have aquestion. How can remove the load of jquery for and add it manually to my head. You know for load 1 jquery on the head of my template. Tanks!

ezequiel on May 15, 2010 at 11:03 am

Nice plugin! But when images are smaller than the defined width (565px default) they are repeated. Is there any way to correct this?

Arthur Gouveia on May 14, 2010 at 3:53 pm

i have another little issues:
found out that it doesnt work with lightbox 2 (but with jquerry lightbox!)
and: the z-index could be adjustable (in the plugin). otherwise it’s still ontop of lightbox. I changed it in the source and it worked well.

regards!

An update for my previous comment, I did get it to work without the weird post bug issue, that was actually a mistake on my part.

It still does conflict with Polaroid Gallery, so I still can’t use it at this point. If any ideas why they conflict, let me know.

@hannit
You can have only one Coin Slider on page.

Thank you all for support and bug reporting, I really appreciate that.

I’ll try to help you with your questions and problems as best as I can. Just please provide me url with example where I can see and investigate whats happen.

hi.
I’m looking forward getting the thing to work, but it does only show 1 particular post. (using csText and csImage with correct values entered). posts -not pages.
Also the slide-count is set to 3.
did I forget something? It only showes up one. (i edited about 4 posts with csText/image)

This looks amazing bro, two thumbs up for sure. Unlike anything else out there and on top of all it works with WordPress. Just Tweeted you.

Thanks,
Emil

Hey, i want to directly go to the category page by clicking the image and not on any single post in the category so give me solution for this

dhananjai on May 7, 2010 at 12:16 pm

It conflicts with the FancyBox Gallery plugin completely breaking the lightbox for images!

Ovi Demetrian Jr on May 6, 2010 at 4:51 pm

Hi,
Can I use this plugin to create multiple instances of coin-slider in a single template page ?

hannit on May 6, 2010 at 5:52 am

Go to Settings->Coin Slider 4 WP

At the bottom of the page it says: Show post from category (all by default). In this box, type the category name that you want in your slider.

Nigel on May 5, 2010 at 5:12 pm

Hi there,
Can you please tell me how can i slide categories instead of posts in coin slider for wordpress plugin??

dhananjai on May 5, 2010 at 3:44 pm

is there a tutorial video for this? I am new to this? thank you

rACHEL LAMBO on May 4, 2010 at 11:24 pm

Nice work Ivan. I will try this on one of my WP based projects. Just what I was looking for.

Ivan Knezevic on May 4, 2010 at 4:37 pm

I can get it to work, but it appears to break Polaroid Gallery plugin, not sure how or why the 2 effect each other, especially since I have tested CS on a separate page. Not a big deal to me, but I imagine it may break other gallery plugins, which it should not consdering this is not a gallery plugin.

Other bug I have found, and I am completely confused on is when I view it on the page, a random post of mine always shows up below the gallery. The custom fields are different, I have no idea why any random post would show up below the coin slider, it brings up a post from 4/29 with a Guild Wars 2 video. This happens on a custom page with the text field left blank. Only thing that should be showing up is the gallery. I viewed the posts with the editor, and the custom field is ‘enclosure’, and when i unpublished that post, it went to a post about Garmin’s that used the ‘superawesome’ field. I can’t link you to this, since I had to deactivate it to keep from breaking my gallery I am running, but maybe you have run across this issue.

I love the look, and if I find a way to get it to interact better with my Polaroid Gallery and that weird post under the gallery issue is figured out, I’ll be using this for sure.

Odlično. Svaka čast

Igor Velickovic on May 4, 2010 at 9:49 am

Doesn’t work for me, I get $(“#coin-slider”) is null

$(“#coin-slider”).coinslider({
width : 640,
height : 250,
spw : 7,
sph : 5,
delay : 5000,
navigation : false,
effect : ”
});

I have been using Featured Content Gallery without any problems, but just tried swapping it out for this and I just get the 2 images on the front page.

Nigel on May 3, 2010 at 7:34 pm

Hello and first let me say thank you thank you thank you ( yepp 3 times 🙂 ) for this wonderful plugin. is there any chance you can modify it that way we can use pages and posts instead of just posts? That would be great!

Thx again !!!!

thomas
